KMS Color Vitality Shampoo and Conditioner: Review

I used to have incredibly soft, healthy, smooth hair. Even with heat styling. Then I tried colouring, and for the low price of HUNDREDS of dollars, I got blonde highlights and dry, damaged, yucky hair. WAY uncool. Even with oils and damage remedies, my hair still isn't in fantastic shape. So when Faulhaber Communications reached out to me about KMS Start. Style. Finish., I thought, "Why not?" My current routine of Big Sexy Hair isn't doing much for me—not even volume! Phooey.

I received two pieces from the Color Vitality line—the shampoo and conditioner. They're designed to protect colour-treated hair, restoring radiance and making your dye job last up to three times longer. The shampoo is clear, and the conditioner has a light purple tint, which (I believe) helps slightly with toning my blonde hair. I've used both of these products three to four times over the last week, and I can report that I'm very pleased. My hair feels lighter and softer, and on day one post-shampoo, my colour definitely looks brighter and less brassy. Note that I haven't touched up my colour in forever, so I can't say whether these products really triple the life of a dye job. I can say, though, that I'm definitely going to keep using these.

I haven't tried anything else from the KMS Color Vitality line, but based on the shampoo and conditioner, I'm interested.  KMS products are available at select salons, so I'll need to do some investigative work!

Have you tried anything from the KMS Start. Style Finish. line? What products do you like to use on colour-treated hair? Let me know in the comments!
